Indiana aired it out to the tune of 145 passing yards in the quarter, and the Hoosiers have taken the lead 25-24.

Cameron Coffman's nine-yard touchdown pass to Kofi Hughes finished off a nine-play, 73-yard drive and gave Indiana the lead, 17-14. The Hoosiers' rushing attack finished with just two carries on that drive.

Ball State tied things up at 17 when an eight-play, 52-yard drive ended after Steven Schott drilled a 51-yard field goal.

A seven-play, 28-yard scoring drive by the Cardinals snapped the 17-17 tie, as Jahwan Edwards ran one yard to paydirt.

Coffman's three-yard touchdown pass to Hughes and a subsequent two-point conversion gave Indiana the lead, 25-24, and was the final play of a 13-play, 78-yard drive. The Hoosiers put two points on the board when Stephen Houston ran in from two yards out.

Coffman clinched a 200-yard passing game with 145 in the quarter, part of his 229-yard day through two quarters for Indiana.

Ball State will start the second half with the ball.
