Ohio State made its lead 31-10 when Miller scrambled for an eight-yard touchdown run on the last play of a three-play, 32-yard drive. The Buckeyes started in good field position when Etienne Sabino intercepted Blake Bortles' pass.

UCF closed the gap to 31-16 when Bortles tossed a two-yard touchdown to Billy Giovanetti to clinch an 84-yard drive. Bortles' 35-yard pass to Quincy McDuffie took the Knights from the 28 and across midfield to ignite the drive. Ohio State blocked the extra point attempt.

UCF will start the fourth quarter with good field position on Ohio State's 14-yard line.

Ohio State running back Carlos Hyde injured his knee in the first half and is spending the second half on the sidelines.
