Mike Wolf, BTN volleyball announcer, September 8, 2012

Minnesota held New Hampshire to 17 yards on the ground during the third quarter and the Golden Gophers now lead 37-7. Minnesota has scored the game's last 28 points. The Gophers' latest score came after marching down the field for a 16-play, 85-yard drive that ended when Donnell Kirkwood ran two yards to paydirt. Pass plays were an afterthought for Minnesota, as the Golden Gophers threw just three passes on that possession.

Minnesota's MarQueis Gray rushed for 16 yards in the quarter to put him over 100 yards for the game. Gray has 103 total yards on the ground so far today.

The Wildcats are in a prime position for points on the Golden Gophers' 15-yard line to open the fourth quarter.
