There were more punts than points in the third quarter and the margin is still 32, as Indiana leads 38-6. With neither team able to move the ball, there were four punts in the quarter.

The Hoosiers sniffed out Massachusetts' rushing attack in the quarter, holding the Minutemen to 13 rush yards. Indiana will start the fourth quarter with possession at Massachusetts' 35-yard line.
