Arizona State's DJ Foster ran for 10 yards and one touchdown and caught one pass for 12 yards, and the margin is still 21, as the Sun Devils lead 35-14. Arizona State opened up the lead, 35-7, after Foster pounded in a one-yard touchdown run to end a two-play, 13-yard drive. Alden Darby's interception of a Reilly O'Toole pass set the Sun Devils up to start the drive.

Illinois polished off an 80-yard drive when O'Toole and Eddie Viliunas combined for a five-yard touchdown to make the score 35-14. Josh Ferguson's 51-yard run from the 20-yard line pushed the Fighting Illini into enemy territory.

Arizona State's Taylor Kelly hit 200 yards passing for the game in the quarter, part of his 230-yard passing performance thus far.

Illinois has possession at its own 13-yard line to start the fourth quarter.
