Ohio State ran for 102 yards in the quarter and the Buckeyes now lead 17-10. Ohio State added to its advantage when Drew Basil made a 24-yard field goal, the final play on a 13-play, 67-yard drive to give the Buckeyes the lead, 10-3.

UCF got even after Blake Bortles found Justin Tukes open for a one-yard touchdown pass to end a four-play, 78-yard drive that tied the score at 10. The Knights' drive was highlighted by Storm Johnson's 48-yard run.

An eight-play, 48-yard scoring drive by Ohio State snapped the 10-10 standoff, as Braxton Miller scrambled for a six-yard touchdown run. Travis Howard's interception of a Bortles pass set the Buckeyes up to start the drive. Ohio State went to the air just two times during that series.

The Buckeyes' Miller topped 100 yards rushing for the game in the quarter, and has plenty of time to add to his 108 total yards on the ground. Ohio State will have possession to start the second half.
