Minnesota held New Hampshire to six yards on the ground during the second quarter and the Golden Gophers now lead 30-7. Minnesota is currently on a 21-point run. The Golden Gophers made their lead 23-7 when MarQueis Gray and John Rabe combined for a two-yard touchdown on the last play of an eight-play, 67-yard drive.

Minnesota opened up the lead, 30-7, after marching down the field for a three-play, 18-yard drive that ended when Gray took a quarterback draw all the way for a 12-yard touchdown run. A fumble recovery by the Golden Gophers set Minnesota up to start the drive.

The Wildcats will have possession to start the second half.
