Don't expect Maxwell to fold. He's a drop back passer unlike T-Mart and D-Rob and Miller. MSU is the best team and will prove it every week. MSU's defense has yet to give up a TD and has only given up 2 FG's all season, 1 of them on a turnover by the offense. MSU is the team to beat.

dreamteam how is Andrew Maxwell going to fold? I doubt UCLA's defense is tougher than Boise's. Maxwell got better in the second half, he didn't get better because he was learning how to deal with pressure? The pass protection from MSU's experienced offensive line won't get better after a big first game of the year? Not buying it, and Ohio State? Only 50 more total yards than UCF? Sorry, not buying that either. We'll find out on Sept 29.

And Doug and I are not the same person, we just share a great name (and it looks like the same alma mater as well).

Deservedly so. But what I see as a systemic failure to coach in the 4th quarter by NU is now showing the real lack (tackling / play calling) versus talent. And it appears the entire Big 10 (Penn State, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Iowa, Michigan's scare) is weak. And I see that same weakness in Michigan State (QB under pressure will fold like Martinez). Sadly, the best team in the Big 10 is Ohio State. And everyone else is questionable - at best.

you guys can talk about beating MSU last year all day long, but MSU beat down that Michigan team that blew you out and won at NW while Neb lost at home to NW. see how none of that matters? this year is a new year

LOL Nebraska guy, you talk a lot about Michigan State not being a # 1 Big Team, so let's hear your case for Nebraska? What have they done in the Big 12, or the B1G or any other conference lately??? Keep talking about Michigan State, might keep you from having to admit your own team ain't all that great! Nebraska was lucky to beat MSU last year, you got them at the end of a really tough streatch. MSU has a much easier schedule this year, and they get Nebraskas sorry butts at home this year. I look forward to your post after that game.
