The Crimson Tide expanded their lead to 14-0 thanks to a three-play, 67-yard drive that ended when McCarron tossed a 51-yard touchdown to DeAndrew White.
Alabama opened up the lead, 21-0, after Eddie Lacy turned a handoff into a nine-yard touchdown to end a three-play, 17-yard drive. The Crimson Tide started in good field position when Dee Milliner intercepted a Denard Robinson pass.
No. 8 Michigan has possession on its own 38-yard line to start the second quarter.
