Indiana State's Shakir Bell ran for 103 yards and one touchdown and caught one pass for 15 yards in the quarter, and the two teams are tied 7-7 at the end of the first. The Sycamores got on the scoreboard first, rattling off a five-play, 84-yard drive that ended in a score when Bell pounded in a 54-yard touchdown run.

Indiana tied the score at seven apiece after Tre Roberson and Shane Wynn combined for a 71-yard touchdown to finish off a three-play, 83-yard drive. Indiana State's Bell has already gone over 100 yards rushing in just one quarter, with 103 so far.

The Hoosiers are knocking on the door to begin the second quarter, with the ball at the Sycamores' 19-yard line.
