Ryan Nassib had a productive quarter for Syracuse. He threw for 165 yards and two touchdowns and ran for two yards, but the margin is still eight, as the Orange trail 35-27. Syracuse is currently on a 14-point run.

Northwestern made the score 28-13 when the Wildcats recovered a fumble in the endzone.

Northwestern added to its advantage when Kain Colter kept it himself for a one-yard touchdown run, the final play on an eight-play, 73-yard drive to give the Wildcats the lead, 35-13.

The Orange capped off a 77-yard drive when Nassib threw a seven-yard touchdown pass to Marcus Sales to make the score 35-20.

Syracuse made the score 35-27 after Nassib tossed a 50-yard touchdown to Jeremiah Kobena to finish off a 91-yard drive.

The Orange's Nassib hit 300 yards passing for the game in the quarter, part of his 320-yard passing performance thus far.

Syracuse has possession to start the fourth quarter.
