In the second quarter, Northwestern's Kain Colter threw for 49 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 16 yards to help the Wildcats take a 21-13 lead into halftime.

Northwestern is currently on a 14-point run.

Colter's 21-yard touchdown pass to Venric Mark gave the Wildcats the lead, 14-13, and was the final play of a one-play, 21-yard drive. Northwestern started in good field position when Chi Chi Ariguzo intercepted a Ryan Nassib pass.

The Wildcats opened up the lead, 21-13, after Colter found Christian Jones open for a 14-yard touchdown pass to end a four-play, 28-yard drive. Mark's punt return set Northwestern up to start the drive.

Prince-Tyson Gulley's 14-yard touchdown run gave Syracuse the lead 13-7 after a 14-play, 82-yard drive.

The Orange will get the ball to start the second half.
