This game was a perfect example of why I didn't pick Michigan State to win the conference championship. Le'Veon Bell was great. He pretty much was Michigan State's offense. As long as he stays healthy, he will probably end the season as the conference's best running back and possibly a Heisman Trophy finalist. Michigan State's defense was great. It kept the Spartans in the game and really disrupted Boise State's offense. However, Andrew Maxwell and the inexperienced receiving corps really scare me. I hope that they improve and want to see them do well, but it is going to have to happen fast. Thus far, Ohio State and Nebraska have been the two most impressive Big Ten teams by far, and Bell, Braxton Miller, and Taylor Martinez should all share the conference's offensive player of the week award.
