2nd Quarter Recap: Boise State 13, Michigan State 10
Boise State broke the tie when Michael Frisina made a 19-yard field goal to cap off a five-play, 28-yard scoring drive. The Broncos’ drive was highlighted by Joe Southwick’s 40-yard pass to Matt Miller. Boise State squandered an opportunity to score a touchdown, missing a chance to score from Michigan State’s two-yard line before settling for the field goal.
The Spartans’ Bell topped 100 yards rushing for the game in the quarter, and has plenty of time to add to his 107 yards. Michigan State will get the ball to start the second half.
