The BTN Tour bus chugs into Camp Kenosha in Wisconsin to check in on Pat Fitzgerald?s Northwestern Wildcats on Tuesday. We'll air the Northwestern Preview Show at 10 p.m. ET  Wednesday on BTN/BTN2Go.

While in Kenosha, I will keep an eye on quarterback Kain Colter, who is a wondrous athlete. Who could forget how he took over for an injured Dan Persa at Nebraska last season and led Northwestern to victory? No one doubts Colter?s running skills, but how will he look as a passer?

And I can?t wait to see a Wildcat receiving corps that may be as deep and talented as any in the Big Ten. It will be fun to see USC transfer Kyle Prater up close.

The running back situation is more problematic. Freshman Malin Jones arrives with a fat scrapbook and could win the job. I wanna see him tote the rock.

The defense has some good young players I can?t wait to see, guys like end Deonte Gibson, tackle Chance Carter, safety Ibraheim Campbell and corner Nick VanHoose. And true freshman linebacker Ifeadi Odenigbo is as touted as any newcomer in recent Wildcat history.

This is a defense that had issues with communication last year and needs to become better across the board after ranking 10th or worse in scoring, rushing, passing and total defense last year.
