Tom Izzo's team will play the game there because it's the 50th anniversary season of one of the arena's finest moments, when Mississippi State, consisting entirely of white players, defied a state prohibition against playing integrated teams and faced Loyola, which started four African-Americans, in the 1963 NCAA Tournament Mideast Region semifinals.

The game against Tuskegee will mark the first for Michigan State at Jenison Field House since 1989.
