The BTN bus rolls into Iowa City today on the first training camp stop of the 2012 Big Ten Football Preview Tour, presented by Culligan. Many questions loom for the Hawkeyes as they prepare for the season. There is a lot going on in Iowa City, and I'll have another post after our visit is complete. What are you most curious about? Drop me a line below. I'll be answering questions all tour long. And our Iowa TV show airs at 10 p.m. ET on Thursday. Full schedule here.

During our visit, I will be watching the running back situation to see how it is developing after an offseason of attrition that saw two running backs (Marcus Coker and Mikail McCall) transfer and another (DeAndre Johnson) recently booted off the team.

And how will a defensive line that is in flux come together for a defense that ranked only eighth in the Big Ten last season?

It also will be fun to watch James Vandenberg, who I think is the top passing quarterback in the Big Ten. Who will he be throwing to with Marvin McNutt gone?

I also will observe the chemistry of a staff that underwent a major shakeup for the first time since Kirk Ferentz took over in 1999, with two new coordinators (Greg Davis on offense and Phil Parker on defense) on both sides of the ball being the major changes.
