I like the way Coach Hope runs his program. Purdue is one of the best universities in the world. Rural Indiana is the backbone of America. I hope this country doesn’t forget that it was founded on the principles represented by Coach Hope, Purdue University, and rural Indiana.

This is going to be Purdue’s best chance at making a run at a Big Ten championship since Joe Tiller left the program and over the next decade or so. Purdue returns plenty of players from last season’s team unlike Michigan State and Wisconsin. The Boilermakers will be the biggest threat to Wisconsin’s attempt at representing the Leaders Division in the conference championship game in Indianapolis. Once Urban Meyer’s Ohio State Buckeyes become eligible for postseason play again after this season, the road to Indianapolis in future years will become nearly impossible to navigate. For Purdue’s sake, hopefully the Boilermakers don’t blow this unique opportunity.
