There were obviously some struggles last year, but I attribute most of those to what I call “new conference syndrome”. Nebraska had to prepare to play twelve teams that were not on the previous season’s schedule. The Conhuskers play Michigan, Penn State, and Wisconsin all at home this season. Their two toughest road games will be at Michigan State and at Ohio State. I definitely think that this team could finish the season with only two conference losses and could earn a spot in the conference championship game. As of now, I actually predict that Nebraska will play in Indianapolis in December, win the game there, and play in Pasadena on New Year’s Day.
