Badger football honors rich past with renovation

Camp Randall Stadium

Camp Randall Stadium is undergoing its share of renovations this offseason. One of the projects included a nod to the program’s rich history on the front of the luxury boxes on the east side of the stadium. The three-level tribute features the program’s retired numbers, on top, the team’s Big Ten titles, in the middle, and its Rose Bowl appearances, on bottom. Here’s how it used to look:

And there’s another look at yet another stadium with the “B1G” logo on the 25-yard lines (here’s another, and another). I’ve mentioned it a few times, every Big Ten team will have the logos on its field, in addition to its jerseys. web editor Brent Yarina writes the Clothes Call features. The Badgers need to build the east stands equal to the west stands and then add more boxes or a balcony. The Badgers need to break the 100K barrier as well.

I love the additions to Camp Randall Stadium. It’s nice to see the B1G Championships and Rose Bowl appearances on display. I wish they would have made ’94 ’99 and ’00 Red, or in some way show which years we won the Rose Bowl.
