In a world where it's becoming more and more difficult to keep up with all of the uniform changes going on across the college football landscape, Penn State is a breath of fresh air. With the exception of a minor detail here or there, Penn State's uniform looks a lot like it did in our grandfather's day. But with all the changes going on around the school, is this the time for the team to finally alter its look?

For the record, the school is not considering any sort of change. This is just an interesting topic to consider in the wake of all the changes taking place at Penn State. I'm not saying the team should mix up its uniform, either – I love the old-school look. I'm just thinking if the school were ever to touch the iconic duds, maybe now is the time, what with a new coach and all the negative publicity.

The uniform is a polarizing one, to say the least. The people who love it, absolutely adore it and treat it as something sacred. The people who hate it, though, think it's boring and feel it resembles an elementary team's uniform. There never seems to be any middle ground, and that's what makes this idea interesting to entertain.
