Here's a safe assumption: Any time "The Victors" is played in Columbus, Ohio, it will be met with a cascade of boos. Chad Smith, the drummer for Red Hot Chili Peppers, realized this in a concert earlier this month at Value City Arena. Smith, wearing a Michigan hat, belted out the Michigan Fight Song and – surprise, surprise – was booed off the stage. Watch the YouTube video in this post.

Why would Smith do something like this? Well, the drummer was raised in Bloomfield Hills, Mich., where he lived up until moving out to California following high school. That's our only guess.

It's just another chapter to one of the greatest rivalries in all of sports. Last month there was this interesting move that got the rivalry even more fired up.
