One question though… is there talk to rework the conference’s schedling so there are fewer overlapping games? For instance on Sep 15 there are multiple games that overlap. It would be better, in my opinion, to have live games not competing against one another. I suppose it could be beneficial if one game is a blowout and a more compelling game is available, but it would make it easier follow more teams on a national basis and develop stronger B1G programs due to increased exposure. Just my 2 cents but I think by starting the conference games earlier and mixing some non-conf games through mid to late Oct, the BTN schedule would be better and you’d have a larger market for more nationally televised games to sell to advertisers.

They depend on several factors, including who’s playing, what the score is and is a team about to tie or take the lead. We also put contingencies in place so we can get the home market (and sometimes other markets along with it) to the start of their game. Hope this helps.

Especially during Week 3. I think fans of the trailing team would rather watch the kickoff of their game than the conclusion of someone else’s.

I should point out that this is a problem that other networks have also, but I am commenting here, because you guys are always nice enough to reply.

“The Journey” is a nice touch this season. Hopefully we can see the development of the new coaching staffs in Columbus, State College and Champaign.
