BTN & BTN2Go will have live coverage of all of the Purdue Boilermakers? baseball games in the 2012 NCAA Baseball Tournament?s Gary Regional, the network announced today. After winning both the Big Ten regular season and Big Ten Tournament, Purdue opens play in the 2012 NCAA Tournament at 8 p.m. ET on Friday.

With an overall record of 44-12, Purdue earned the top seed in the Gary Regional and plays Valparaiso in its first game. On Saturday, BTN will televise Purdue?s second game, which will be against Kent State or Kentucky in either the winners? or losers? bracket, given the double-elimination nature of the regionals. Should Purdue advance, it will play one game, and potentially two games on Sunday that BTN also will televise, as well as the final game Monday, if necessary. All games will be played at the U.S. Steel Yard, the home of the Gary South Shore Rail Cats.
