Purdue heads into Saturday's Big Ten Baseball Tournament championship round as the undefeated top seed as the Boilermakers dropped No. 2 seed Indiana 3-0 on Friday night. Purdue will play either Indiana or Michigan State on Saturday at 7 p.m. ET. Either opponent would have to beat Purdue twice to win tourney. Watch more Indiana-Purdue videos in this post.

Lance Breedlove pitched 7 1/3 innings of five-hit ball and No. 15 Purdue baseball received an RBI from each of its three leading hitters. Purdue (43-12) advances to the championship game of the tournament for the first time since 2008 and third time in program history.

Indiana (31-27) now need to rip off three straight victories to win the conference tourney and advance to the NCAA Regionals. The IU run begins on Saturday at 3:35 pm versus Michigan State (37-20). On Friday, six different Hoosiers recorded a hit, but none were strung together close enough to plate a run.
