Ohio State built a 3-0 lead before Nebraska answered with two runs in the sixth inning, but the Buckeyes held on to eliminate the Huskers with a 6-2 win in Friday's first game of the Big Ten Baseball Tournament. Ohio State must now turn around quickly and play Michigan State in the next game. Track it here.

Nebraska (35-23, 14-10 Big Ten) out hit the Buckeyes, 9-8, but NU stranded 10 runners on the afternoon and committed three errors in the field. Josh Scheffert, Kash Kalkowski and Rich Sanguinetti each had two hits, while Kalkowski, Richard Stock and Cory Burleson each notched a double on the day.
