With the wind howling in Sunday in the first game of a Big Ten doubleheader at Indiana, Northwestern showed its power prowess with a pair of deep home runs and seven total extra base hits that aided an 8-3 Wildcats' win at the IU Softball Field. In the second game, it was all Indiana en route to an 11-3 win in six innings. The win gave Indiana two wins over Northwestern in the same season for the first time since 1997. OHIO STATE 4, NEBRASKA 0

Sophomore Melanie Nichols led the Ohio State softball team to a 4-0 victory vs. Nebraska Sunday after throwing a three-hit, complete-game shutout at Buckeye Field. IOWA 4, MICHIGAN STATE 1

The University of Iowa softball team closed out the three-game sweep at Michigan State, downing the Spartans, 4-1, on Sunday afternoon at Secchia Stadium. It is the Hawkeyes' second Big Ten Conference sweep and second consecutive series win this season. Read full recap at HawkeyeSports.com.

WISCONSIN 9, PENN STATE 0
