Here's a roundup of Saturday's baseball action in the Big Ten Conference.

The Ohio State baseball team fell to Illinois, 8-3, Saturday afternoon at Illinois Field. The Buckeyes fall to 21-18 on the season, 6-8 in the Big Ten, while the Fighting Illini improve to 22-16, 5-6 in conference play. Read more at FightingIllini.com.

For the second straight day Indiana Baseball rode a dominant pitching performance to victory as Kyle Hart tossed a complete game shutout in IU's 3-0 win over Georgia Southern (22-19). Penn State's Steven Hill outdueled Iowa's Matt Dermody Saturday afternoon in a 2-0 Nittany Lion victory over the Iowa baseball team at Duane Banks Field. Hill retired just two batters over the minimum in recording the first Penn State baseball no-hitter since 1995. Read more at HawkeyeSports.com.

Colby Everett delivered a pinch-hit, go-ahead RBI single in the top of the 11th inning and Northwestern got two more runs in the frame as the Wildcats held on to outlast Michigan 6-5 in the first game of a doubleheader Saturday afternoon at Wilpon Complex. Read more at NUSports.com

The University of Minnesota baseball team split its action as it faced Michigan State in a doubleheader, today, in East Lansing, Mich. The Golden Gophers fell in the first game, 3-2 in 11 innings, but bounced back for a 4-2 win over the Spartans in the second game. Minnesota is now 23-18 on the season and 7-4 in Big Ten play. No. 16 Purdue baseball scored multiple runs in the first inning for the third game in a row and held an early 3-1 lead, but Nebraska scored seven unanswered runs to rally back and defeat the Boilers, 8-3, Saturday afternoon in game two of the Big Ten series. Read more at PurdueSports.com.
