Iowa Unveils Throwback Jerseys

This just in from HawkeyeSports.com: The Iowa football team will wear 1921-22 throwback uniforms when the Hawkeyes host Iowa State on Sept. 8. The helmet is the old gold, with matching gold on the jersey and pants and gray facemasks. The jersey is a black body with an old gold semicircle under arms and white numbers front and back. There will be no player names. The shoes? Black with black laces. The socks? All black as well. There's a small photo of the jersey at HawkeyeSports.com.
