It was a historic day on Big Ten baseball diamonds Sunday afternoon. In Columbus, Nebraska swept a doubleheader from Ohio State to card its first conference road series win since taking 2-of-3 from Baylor in Waco, Texas, in 2008. Meanwhile, in West Lafayette and University Park, respectively, Purdue coach Doug Schrieber became the program's all-time wins leader and Penn State coach Robbie Wine won his 200th game. Nebraska sweeps Ohio State for rare conference road series win
With Ohio State riding a seven-game winning streak going into Sunday, Nebraska swept a doubleheader from the Buckeyes to win its first conference road series since taking 2-of-3 from Baylor in Waco, Texas, during the 2008 season. Nebraska used three home runs to win game one, 5-4, and dominated the Buckeyes in game two, 17-9, to take the three-game series after dropping the opener on Friday night. Penn State beats Michigan, sends Wine to 200th win

Sean Deegan hit a go-ahead two-run home run and Jordan Steranka blasted an insurance homer to send Penn State to a 6-4 victory over Michigan on Sunday afternoon. The win marked Penn State coach Robbie Wine's 200th career victory, making him the fifth Penn State skipper to reach the 200-win plateau. Read full recap at GoPSUSports.com.

Purdue sweeps Illinois; Schreiber breaks program wins record
Starting pitchers Lance Breedlove and Connor Podkul teamed up to allow only one earned run over 14 innings Sunday, leading No. 18 Purdue to a doubleheader and series sweep of Illinois at Lambert Field. Head coach Doug Schreiber won his 408th career game in the nightcap to become the program's all-time leader. Schreiber eclipsed the program wins record held by Dave Alexander, who Schreiber played for from 1983-86. Read full recap at PurdueSports.com.

Lubinsky, Minnesota sweep Northwestern
Minnesota completed its sweep of Northwestern behind some early offense and a solid pitching performance from Austin Lubinsky on Sunday. Minnesota (20-17, 6-3) got RBIs from five different players en route to the 6-0 victory over the Wildcats (10-22, 3-9). The Gophers allowed only two runs all weekend, as they won, 2-1, Friday and Saturday. Read full recap at GopherSports.com.

Michigan State downs Indiana twice, plates 20 in nightcap

Michigan State swept a doubleheader from Indiana on Sunday, winning the first game 6-0 before erupting for a 20-10 win in the nightcap. The 20-run outburst was one to remember, as the Spartans scored in seven of the nine innings and plated at least four runs in three different frames. The doubleheader sweep gave Michigan State the series win, this after Indiana took the first game of the series.

Iowa downs South Dakota State, 6-1
The University of Iowa baseball team defeated South Dakota State on Saturday on a neutral field at TD Ameritrade Park, 6-1. Iowa (15-16, 4-5) has won five of its last seven contests overall and its last four nonconference games. The game was the first of a scheduled doubleheader.
