Big Ten Spring Football Roundup

Mother Nature wreaked havoc on Big Ten spring games Saturday, as Indiana, Nebraska and Purdue’s games were canceled. The Hoosiers and Boilermakers both moved inside to scrimmage, but the Huskers didn’t get to take the field and will not make up the game. Illinois, Iowa and Michigan also were in action, and you can catch up on all of it in this post. Also, see what senior writer Tom Dienhart learned Saturday, find out why Michigan wore maize shoelaces and watch all of Saturday’s highlights.

Here’s our roundup, with tweets and select video, from Saturday’s action:

Help me understand why its baseball season and your station does not program more games; sorry, but I mean baseball, not softball, no offense.
I can understand spring football, but come on, spring football does not mean all that much. I know, to some it does, but why not more baseball?
Between UofM and MSU there have been about 11 Big Ten games each and only have had about 2 televised games. How about the other Big Ten teams? We could have been watching some good Big Ten baseball. Dont get me wrong, I love football. Especially Big Ten football. But its baseball season. Something else, I know you have had enough of me already, but why the old football games, use this as filler. There have been some good baseball games I am sure you have archived could televise. As you can see I love baseball TOO. I am not angry, just dissappointed that BTN
does not have more baseball.
Help me understand the programming side to television.
Thank you for your patience.

What does Michigan need to accomplish on the offensive side of the ball as far as blocking and throwing?
