Kain Colter's versatility doesn't stop on the football field. The do-it-all Wildcat can rap, too. Colter, who racked up 1,793 total yards and accounted for 18 touchdowns in 2011, showed off his freestyling skills at a recent Northwestern practice. For the record, Colter was mic'd up for the practice, so who knows if he was winging it. It sure seems like he was, though, based on his reaction: "I'm embarrassing myself. On national TV, I'm mic'd up. I can't believe this!" Watch Colter's rapping skills in an NUFootballFamily YouTube video in this post.

With all due respect, Colter should stick to football. He's got a bright future ahead of himself in Evanston. Fresh off one of the more dynamic all-around statistical seasons you'll ever see (55-of-85, 673 passing yards, 6 TDs; 135 car., 654 yards, 9 TDs; 43 rec., 466 yards, 3 TDs), Colter is poised to become a household name.

No word on whether Northwestern will market him as a preseason Heisman Trophy candidate, but he just may be in the discussion a year from now.
