Northwestern unleashed a six-run fifth inning Sunday at Wisconsin on its way to an 8-3 win and the series win. Leadoff hitter Emily Allard recorded her second four-hit game of the season, while also adding two runs and an RBI. Northwestern moves to 14-18 overall on the season with its win, 2-4 in the Big Ten. Michigan 7, Indiana 2

Junior second baseman Ashley Lane drove in the first four runs of the contest on a single and a three-run home run as  No. 20 Michigan took the final contest of a three-game series, 7-2, over Indiana on Sunday afternoon at the IU Softball Field. Read full recap at MGoBlue.com.

Purdue 5, Penn State 0
Purdue closed out a three-game sweep of Penn State with a 5-0 win on Sunday, propelling Purdue its seventh straight win and the top spot in the Big Ten at 6-0 after two weekends of conference play. Ohio State 6, Michigan State 4
The Ohio State softball team claimed its first series sweep of the season Sunday after defeating Michigan State, 6-4, at Secchia Stadium. The Buckeyes (21-11, 5-1 Big Ten) posted two runs in the first and added four runs in the fifth en route to the victory. Read full recap at OhioStateBuckeyes.com.

Nebraska 5, Minnesota 4 – 8 Innings

Freshman Mattie Fowler delivered a two-out, RBI single in the top of the eighth inning to lift the Nebraska softball team to a 5-4 extra-inning win at Minnesota in the series finale on Sunday. Fowler's game-winning hit helped Nebraska salvage one win in the three-game series, after Minnesota won both games of Saturday's doubleheader. Read full recap at Huskers.com.

Iowa 1, Illinois 0 – 10 Innings

Chelsea Lyon went the distance, scattering nine hits and striking out seven batters in 10 innings, en route to pitching Iowa to a 1-0 extra-inning victory over Illinois. Melanie Gladden drew a bases-loaded walk to bring home Katie Keim for the walk-off win. Illinois' Pepper Gray allowed one run on seven hits in 9 1/3 innings.
