Indiana Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Fred Glass announced Monday that women's basketball coach Felisha Legette-Jack will not be back and that the school will begin its search for her replacement immediately.

?After a deliberate and thorough review of all aspects of the women?s basketball program, including meeting with Felisha and interviews with all current players, I have concluded that under the current circumstances Felisha is no longer in a position to turn the program around,? Glass said. ?Delaying the inevitable isn?t fair to her, the program and its fans, and most importantly the student-athletes on this team.

Legette-Jack spent six years at the helm of the Hoosiers, compiling winning records in each of her first three seasons. In her third campaign, Indiana tied the school record for consecutive wins (nine) and totaled 21 wins for the fourth time in program history en route to making the WNIT quarterfinals. However, each of her last three years Indiana produced losing overall and conference records.
