Indiana's Jones out with torn ACL

Indiana point guard Verdell Jones III has a torn ACL in his right knee and is done for the season. The team announced the news Friday, a few hours before its Big Ten tournament quarterfinal game against No. 14 Wisconsin. The 15th-ranked Hoosiers lost Jones on Thursday. The senior guard crashed to floor, screaming and clutching his right knee with 5:45 left in the first half of a win against Penn State in the tournament. He was eventually carried to the locker by two of his teammates and did not return. Watch Indiana coach Tom Crean’s reaction after Thursday’s game.
