Verizon and Big Ten Network (BTN) announced today that Verizon will begin offering BTN2Go, a live 24/7 multi-platform extension of BTN, to its FiOS TV subscribers beginning today.

The announcement was made by Terry Denson, vice president of global content strategy for Verizon, and Mark Silverman, BTN President.

Silverman said, ?We?re very pleased to add Verizon FiOS to our growing list of affiliates offering BTN2Go. Verizon FiOS TV subscribers will now have access to the ultimate destination for Big Ten sports, including our extensive schedule of original and studio programming, wherever they go.?

Denson said, ?Big Ten Network is incredibly popular with our FiOS TV customers and we?re certain they?ll enjoy the ability to watch this programming online with the launch of BTN2Go.  We?re thrilled to add this to our expanding FiOS TV Online offering, giving our customers the anywhere, anytime access they desire.?

BTN2Go features a live feed of all BTN television programming, including live game telecasts and Extra Football Game Channels, part-time channels available on football Saturdays when BTN airs more than one game simultaneously. BTN2Go viewers also have on-demand access to BTN?s deep video archive, including current season games from the Big Ten Conference?s television partners. In addition, original series such as The Journey, Big Ten Icons, Big Ten?s Best and The Big Ten?s Greatest Games, as well as game highlights and coaches? shows, will be available.

Verizon FiOS TV subscribers can access BTN2Go on three platforms: the internet, iPad and iPhone. On the internet, FiOS TV subscribers can go to www.verizon.com/fiostvonline or www.BTN2Go.com, where they?ll need to choose their provider and enter their FiOS login credentials to receive full access to BTN2Go?s services. On the iPad and iPhone, fans will launch the free BTN2Go App (available for download in the Apple iTUnes app store), and again choose their provider and enter their FiOS login credentials for full access. Additionally, BTN2Go will soon be available via Android.

Full online access to BTN2Go is only available to subscribers of participating cable, satellite or telco providers.  The online service is available at no additional cost to subscribers who receive BTN as part of their TV channel line-up.
