There were a quartet of Big Ten women's basketball games Sunday, highlighted by No. 10 Ohio State knocking off No. 19 and first-place Purdue, 80-71, at Value City Arena. In other action, No. 21 Penn State defeated Northwestern, Illinois nipped Indiana at the buzzer and Iowa took down Michigan State. Penn State 77, Northwestern 63 BOX | AP RECAP

(AP) Alex Bentley scored 18 points to lead four players in double figures, and No. 18 Penn State beat Northwestern 77-63 on Sunday. The win was the fourth straight for the Lady Lions (20-5, 11-2 Big Ten). Zhaque Gray scored 17 points, Maggie Lucas had 11 and Nikki Greene added 10. Talia East had 10 rebounds off the bench.

Illinois 61, Indiana 60 BOX

Lydia McCully's rebound basket with 0.6 seconds remaining gave Illinois a 61-60 victory over Indiana Sunday in Bloomington. The Illini led by as many as eight points in the second half, but trailing by four in the final minute, needed scores on their final two possessions to pull out the victory. Iowa 74, Michigan State 57 BOX

Samantha Logic scored 11 second-half points to help Iowa surge past Michigan State, 74-57, on Sunday at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. The win marked Iowa's fifth consecutive victory. The teams were tied, 30-30, at halftime, but the Hawkeyes turned up the heat during the final 20 minutes by shooting 53.6 percent from the field (15-of-28). Read the full recap at HawkeyeSports.com.

Ohio State 80, Purdue 71 BOX | AP RECAP

(AP) Samantha Prahalis hit a 3-pointer from the right wing with 41 seconds left, giving No. 10 Ohio State the boost it needed to hold off No. 16 Purdue 80-71 Sunday, turning the Big Ten race into a four-team logjam. Prahalis scored 26 points with Amber Stokes adding 14, Ashley Adams 13 and conference scoring leader Tayler Hill 12. The Buckeyes finished with a 7-0 run.
