Great game, Huskies! Ben Hanowski, David Eddy, Jared Festler, Nic Dowd, Mike Lee, and Andrew Prochno were all amazing. “Big Ten hockey” has gotten even better this season. In previous years, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, and Wisconsin were toward the top of the “conference”. Ohio State lagged behind. This season, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, and Ohio State are toward the top of the “conference”, and Wisconsin is lagging behind. Let’s hope that this new current trend continues when Big Ten hockey begins in the fall of 2013. Let’s also hope that Penn State can find its way toward the top of the conference with the Wolverines, Spartans, Buckeyes, and Gophers instead of lagging behind with the overrated Badgers.
