Signing Day: Ohio State

Urban Meyer took the strong start by Luke Fickell and company and closed even stronger. The Buckeyes flipped several players committed to other schools, including five-star defensive tackle Tommy Schutt and four-star offensive tackle Taylor Decker.

Decker and Wisconsin flip Kyle Dodson look strong as future bookends. The defensive line class is particularly strong with two five-star defensive ends, Noah Spence, the top overall player in Pennsylvania and Adolphus Washington, Ohio?s top prospect.

Another coveted Ohio end, Se?Von Pittman changed his commitment from Michigan State to the Buckeyes, adding another player who can get to the quarterback. Athletic linebacker Joshua Perry and speedy defensive back Najee Murray contribute further to the standout defensive class. A late switch from Penn State, talented cornerback Armani Reeves could play early.

On offense, five-star running back Brionte Dunn is a big, physical runner, while four-star counterpart Warren Ball is more of a slasher, but just as talented. Wide receiver Frank Epitropoulos and tight end Blake Thomas may not have the press clippings, but are both excellent football players. On the offensive line, look out for Jacoby Boren, who comes from a Buckeye family, and Patrick Elflein, a mobile, tough guard prospect.
