NEBRASKA 70, INDIANA 69: BOX | AP RECAP | SCOREBOARD

FINAL: Nebraska pulled out a 70-69 upset over No. 13 Indiana on Wednesday at Bob Devaney Sports Center. Cody Zeller had a good game for the Hoosiers (15-4) in defeat with 18 points, seven rebounds, and 7-of-12 shooting from the field. Bo Spencer sparked Nebraska (10-8), as he had 23 points and contributed three assists. Nebraska struggled from the floor, shooting 38 percent (23-of-61). More Nebraska scoring came from Toney McCray, who scored 11 and Dylan Talley and Jorge Brian Diaz, who each scored 10. Indiana hit 50 percent of its field goals (26-of-52). The Hoosiers were on fire from beyond the arc during the game, shooting 44 percent (8-of-18). Indiana also got a double-digit performance from Jordan Hulls, who scored 12.

HALFTIME: No. 13 Indiana took full advantage of the stellar combination of Christian Watford and Cody Zeller, ending the first half against Nebraska up 41-34. Watford scored seven points, grabbed five rebounds, and shot 3-of-5 from the field. Zeller scored 10 points and shot 4-of-5 from the field. The Hoosiers played team basketball in the first half, to the tune of 10 assists on 16 field goals. Seven Indiana players scored in the half. Bo Spencer led the way for the Cornhuskers in the first half, with 15 points.

WISCONSIN 77, NORTHWESTERN 57: BOX | AP RECAP | SCOREBOARD

FINAL: Jordan Taylor scored 15 points and grabbed three rebounds and Ryan Evans added 17 points and eight boards as they teamed up to lead Wisconsin to a 77-57 victory over Northwestern on Wednesday at the Kohl Center. Wisconsin (15-5) seized control of the contest after the break, using a 17-2 run to extend its lead to 17 points in the middle of the second half. Wisconsin shot 50 percent from the field (27-of-54). The Badgers were hot from long range, hitting 12-of-23 threes for a 52 percent night. Wisconsin also got double-digit performances from Josh Gasser, who scored 10 and Mike Bruesewitz, who scored 13. John Shurna scored 19 points, corralled six rebounds, and drilled 3-of-5 three-pointers for Northwestern (12-6) in the game. The Wildcats also got solid contributions from Reggie Hearn, who scored 11 and Drew Crawford, who scored 17. Winning the battle on the boards was crucial for the Badgers as they grabbed 29 rebounds to 22 for Northwestern.

HALFTIME: Mike Bruesewitz scored 12 points for Wisconsin as the Badgers lead Northwestern 34-32 at the half. Through 20 minutes of action, a major weapon for the Badgers has been shut down, as the Wildcats have kept Jordan Taylor in check. Sitting with three points, the senior is far below his 13.8 per game average this year. Wisconsin fired often and fired with accuracy from distance, hitting 50 percent (5-of-10) of its three-point attempts. The Badgers shared the ball, finishing with eight assists on 12 field goals in the first half. Wisconsin got points from eight different players. John Shurna led the way for Northwestern in the first half, with 12 points and four rebounds.
