Our 2012 is off to a roaring start here at BTN with another busy week in the books so we decided to take a look back at some of the bigger news and events just in case you missed anything. Last weekend Penn State hired Bill O'Brien as their football coach and on Sunday The Journey: Big Ten Basketball 2012"  debuted and it returns this Sunday at 8 p.m. ET. We offer up bonus video clips like this each week.

Also, earlier this week we got a insider office tour from Ohio State's Urban Meyer and witnessed an uncommon dunk by Michigan's Zack Novak. Oh, and Illinois's Brandon Paul went off for 43 points against Ohio State, which obviously impacted the Big Ten standings. Makes you want to enter the Buffalo Wild Wings Big Ten Men's Basketball Tournament Promotion, right? Indiana's season has featured stunning wins over Kentucky and against Ohio State but on Thursday night in Bloomington Minnesota upset them. And yes, Gus Johnson was there and so were John Mellencamp and Meg Ryan.

This weekend there are five men's basketball games. On Saturday, it's Michigan at Iowa (1 p.m. ET BTN/BTN2GO) followed by Michigan State at Northwestern (3 p.m. ET, BTN/BTN2GO). On Sunday, there are three games: Minnesota at Penn State (4 p.m., BTN/BTN2GO),  Indiana at Ohio State(4:30 p.m., CBS), and  Nebraska at Wisconsin (6 p.m., BTN/BTN2GO). The full scoreboard is right here.

And football is never far from our minds. BTN.com's Tom Dienhart got plenty of feedback on his early 2012 predictions. Go ahead and tell him what you think in his weekly mailbag and stay in touch with BTN on Twitter, Facebook and good old-fashioned email.
