The win sent Ohio State coach Jim Foster to his 750th career triumph. Texas Tech 70, Illinois 64 BOX | AP RECAP

(AP) Christine Hyde scored 18 points to lead No. 15 Texas Tech to a 70-64 win over Illinois on Saturday. The Lady Raiders made 25 of 35 free throws to hang on against Illinois (4-6). Karisma Penn scored 12 points and Alex Burke had 11 for the Illini.

Ohio State 77, Cal 75 BOX | AP RECAP

(AP) Samantha Prahalis had 18 points and six assists and No. 12 Ohio State held off California 77-75 on Saturday to remain unbeaten and give coach Jim Foster his 750th career victory. Tayler Hill and Ashley Adams added 15 points apiece for the Buckeyes (10-0), who led by 14 with 5:20 left before the Golden Bears rallied in the final minutes.

NIU 60, Indiana 59 BOX

In a game that saw 10 ties and 13 lead changes, it was a Northern Illinois 3-point field goal with nine seconds remaining that was the difference as the Huskies topped the Hoosiers in Bloomington on Saturday night, 60-59. Three Indiana players scored in double-figures led by Jasmine McGhee?s 20 points. Aulani Sinclair and Dansila Andujar both scored 10 points each, as Andujar had her third double-double in four games tying her career-high with 13 rebounds.

Michigan 72, Indiana State 44 BOX

The University of Michigan women's basketball team raced out to a 23-point halftime lead and shot 44.4 percent for the game in defeating Indiana State, 72-44, on Saturday night at Crisler Arena. The win improved U-M to 10-2 with one game left in non-conference play. Jenny Ryan led the Wolverines with a game-high 13 points, including eight during the first-half run.
