BTN Video Profiles: A Season In Review
All football season our TV production teams rolled out some special features on the athletes and coaches in the Big Ten. The features aired across many of our programs, including our Saturday pregame show. There was the piece on Indiana’s Duwyce Wilson Jr. who grew up with two deaf parents. We profiled Michigan’s Jordan Kovacs‘ rise from a walk-on player, Illinois’ Jay Prosch and his mother’s battle with cancer, and Dan Persa’s road to Northwestern. Did you know Penn State’s P.J. Byers was in the Navy before Penn State? Want to see what Michigan State’s Arthur Ray Jr. faced down these past few years?
Click here to spend some time in our main BTN feature story video player and watch those features and all the others we produced this fall. And here’s an extra treat: We produce bonus clips that only appear online for many of our TV features. Visit the Features Extra section of our video page to see bonus clips and interviews. And if you really like to go behind the scenes, you should check out our section for The Journey and this media day clip.
Our features can also be intimate explorations of the rich history of the Big Ten. For instance, on week we profiled Mike Lantry’s remarkable journey from Vietnam to Ann Arbor, and how his missed field goals have left an imprint on his life. Watch the entire feature below.
