this is ohio “the football state”,i love my buckeyes as much if not more than the next fan yet i think this year was good for us,it gives us a wake up call.you have to run a clean program to “honestly” be a winner.the big ten has been the cleanest and most respected confrence in the country until this past year and urban meyer will surely regain our national respect.every coach should take from this,you are not untouchable no matter how good you are.GO BUCKS

Yes, it will be good for the Big Ten and nation for the Buckeyes to rise again. And, like you, I think it will happen quickly under Meyer. I doesn’t sound like the NCAA sanctions–which will be handed down in December, according to A.D. Gene Smith–will be severe, which will help Meyer’s cause. And Meyer no doubt will raise the coaching quotient in the Big Ten. You can just feel his passion for the job.

Yes, nice hire by OSU. Like you, I will be intersted to see who Meyer puts on his staff. We know Fickell is staying. I think a few other defensive assistants also may stay. Offense? I think it will be totally new. Meyer has proven to be adept at building a staff. This is going to be exciting and fun to watch.

Go Bucks!! Great Hire, let’s see the coaching staff that he assembles. Has some young talent waiting for him. Hopefully the NCAA is not to harsh with the forthcoming punishment.

Ohio St. Could not have made a better hire. I’m glad the Huskers do not have to play them routinely year in and year out. Michigan better be glad they beat them this year because it may be another 2,900 days until they beat them again.
