I think the Penn State defense is championship-caliber--no doubt. But the offense? I just don't see it. To win at Wisconsin, the Nits will need to score AT LEAST 24 points. THAT will be difficult.

Great points! I think many of us may be overlooking MSU if they do play Wisconsin again in the title game. But I think we all can agree that Wisconsin and Michigan State are the two best teams in the Big Ten. Sorry, Penn State.

Thought Johnny Adams might have deserved a mentioned with the Pick 6 as well as sack and pass breakups he had.

Seems all the Rose Bowl prognosticators (This includes you Tom) keep forgetting MSU was without starting stud DE Gholston when they WON against Wisconsin. Also the Hail Mary gave them the win yes, but not getting it would NOT have meant a loss...They were tied at the time. Go Green!

Lavonte David probably deserves a mention, he was just about the only bright spot for the Huskers Saturday as he was all over the field while totalling 17 tackles, 14 of them unassisted and several of them saving td's. He's about as good as it gets at linebacker, got to be at the top of most post season lists for defensive awards.

Mary,
Everyone is getting used to these new rules with the creation of the divisions. Tom is right, and here's an excerpt from a BigTen.org release: "Michigan State and Penn State collected at least a share of their respective division titles today and the Spartans also punched their ticket to Indianapolis to take part in the inaugural Big Ten Football Championship Game." Hope this helps!

You start the article by saying "champions crowned in each division" but end by saying the winner of the Wisconsin vs Penn state game next Saturday claims the Leaders division title. Which statement is correct?
