The visiting team has the ball and is running a set and you are still commenting on the previous play by Ohio State. The play by play announcer doesn’t have the opportunity inform the viewer who is dribbling the ball, passing the ball or taking a shot because you are still articulating on the previous play.Please don’t emulate Dick Vitale on me or one of these “long-winded” preachers.
