Joe Paterno is innocent of all criminal wrongdoing and has not been able to tell his side of the story yet. This is America the last time that I checked, where people are “innocent until proven guilty”. Joe Paterno is the greatest head football coach in college football history, and his name belongs on that trophy along with the name of Amos Alonzo Stagg. I find it quite hypocritical that Jim Delany issued a statement last week saying that he would let the process play out before taking any action, but now the conference has gone against that statement. I just hope and pray that Joe Paterno’s great name will be restored in a year or two to the trophy where it belongs.
