#BTN Puts Your @BTNLive Tweets on TV

On Thursday night’s edition of BTN Live our crew continued our ongoing coverage of Penn State and the dismissal of Joe Paterno. As we do each week on our weekly live one-hour show we spotlighted the best of your tweets from Twitter sent to @BTNLive and ran them on TV during our conversation. We post clips on BTN.com and archive full episode on BTN2go.com,  but we know some people don’ see the show live on TV. So we did the next best thing and captured screen grabs. Who got their message on TV? Have a look inside.

Late Thursday night, Penn State announced that assistant coach Mike McQueary will not attend Saturday’s game against Nebraska due to “multiple threats.” Also, get caught up on the latest news of the day on this story through a number of links: Interim coach Tom Bradley spoke with reporters (watch the press conference video here, read the transcript here), Bradley gave BTN a one-on-one interview with BTN’s Rick Pizzo, and BTN.com’s  Tom Dienhart writes that Bradley has a long history with the Nittany Lions. Also, Dave Revsine, Gerry DiNardo, Howard Griffith and Glen Mason analyzed the news of the hour and spoke with former Penn State stars D.J. Dozier and Michael Haynes. Why is no one talking about Jerry Sandusky living at home that is 1000ft from Lemont Elementary School? Why have they allowed this monster to post bail and live freely in his home? Why are our great leaders of Penn State not pushing our governor to extricate Sandusky from our community?

I have very little respect for the BTN commentators, that they decided they had all the facts and how Joepa should be remembered…disgraceful…you have NO idea who the Penn State proud are and you have NO idea what actually happened in the course of events!!!

D.J. Dozier is right. Due process was not served. A 10 year old boy was sodomized and Joe Paterno looked the other way and did absolutely nothing to allow due process to take place and allowed a sodomizer to continue for another 9 years. I will never understand why.

Had any thought been given to moving the Penn State-Nebraska game to Nebraska?

We had never seen that discussed in the news or by anyone else and would think the logistics alone would be problematic.

I don’t think so. I’m not sure what the line of thinking was. Some felt the game shouldn’t be played. Nonetheless, here we go…..

First of all. I’m sorry I missed the trial. Oh wait. It didn’t happen yet. If Sandusky did what they say he did, then he can never be punished enough. But last I checked this is America. People here are due a fare trial. I’m glad so many of you know what realy happend. Case closed. After 9/11 i would listen to “FOOLS” talk about what they would have done if they were on the doomed flights. And after the shootings at VA Tech. ” I would have done something to stop it”. You have never been in this situation! Which means you have no idea what you would do in this situation! Has anybody out there had to much to drink, then drove? Has anyone out there told a lie that may have hurt another person. How about stole something that didn’t belong to you? I’m glad there are so many perfect people in the world. The last perfect person walked on water. Lets let Him, and the law do the judging. We”ll stick to the praying.
