Three Big Ten Teams Make Women's NCAA Tourney

Three Big Ten teams, headlined by Big Ten tournament champion Illinois, made the 2011 NCAA Women’s Soccer Championship, it was announced Monday. Ohio State and Big Ten regular-season champ Penn State join the Illini in the field. For Penn State, this marks the program’s 17th consecutive NCAA berth. lllinois (16-4-2) hosts Notre Dame at 1 p.m. ET Sunday; Ohio State (10-8-2) plays at Tennessee at 5 p.m. ET Saturday; and Penn State (19-4) hosts Army at 7 p.m. ET Friday.
