Illinois Asks Fans to "Stripe the Stadium" Saturday

At 6-0 and off to the team’s best start since its 1951 national championship season, the Illinois football program is looking to take advantage of its hot start. To that end, the Illinois Division of Intercollegiate Athletics is asking fans to “Stripe the Stadium” orange and blue for Illinois’ nationally televised game against Ohio State on Saturday afternoon. According to FightingIllini.com, fans seated in the odd-numbered sections and the entire north end zone are asked to wear orange, while fans in the even-numbered sections should wear blue.

Also, the FanCam, a five-billion pixel high-definition camera, will take a 360-degree image of Memorial Stadium during halftime. Fans are encouraged to be in their seats by the end of the Marching Illini halftime performance, when the image will be taken from the 50-yard line
